Summing it up!

At this point you many be wondering, “How do I choose what method to use?” or “which one is better?” To answer both questions, I like to use all three of these methods I’ve mentioned hand in hand! When it comes to evangelism, there are as many methods as there are people. These methods are merely tools we use to present the universal truth of the Gospel to others.

Method Summary

The Way of the Master (WOTM) is a method created by Kirk Cameron and Ray Comfort. The method name is also the name of their ministry. It’s based on what Jesus actually did in regards to evangelism. The WOTM uses the Law for its second purpose—as a mirror to show how much we really need a Savior just as Jesus did (for example, with the woman at the well in John 4).

The method uses four letters to represent the four questions or stepping-stones: WDJD, which stand for “What Did Jesus Do?”

The Romans Road

Method Summary

The Romans Road is a highly used method of sharing the Gospel in a succinct and straightforward way. The method is made up of five parts; each part is supported by at least one verse from the Book of Romans—thus the name, The Romans Road.
